An old-style doodle, with many parts to look at! This took a few days, from the initial drawing, to inking, to uploading to my computer and digitally coloring and adding textures and detail! Lots of fun, and definitely different from my normal doodle-style. Thanks for viewing!
I am trying different techniques, also digitally. In this case, I aimed to "build" the illustration only using shapes. So, it's beyond fine drawing, but I'm curious what you think. Thanks for the prompt.

I finally did it. I completed my 100 gestures Challenge. You can do a gesture in 2-3 minutes (or even faster if you are trained), so you can complete such challenge in 4-5 hours. I decided to do gesture drawing as a habit, take some extra time to select poses which I find interesting and draw on most of the days at least one gesture. I started in April and now I'm done in December, which means 7 months later. As it is now a habit I will not stop drawing gestures after the challenge, but I passed a milestone. Thanks for watching.

I haven't posted on a while but here's more digital art! I think I shaped the eyes wrong so now they just look sad but hey, I'm learning! I didn't have time to give details to the hair since I was focused on the face, but I like the shape of it. What do you think? Let me know if you have any suggestions to improve this, thanks!

Well...depends on how far we can bend that. Inspired by the hurricane that passed through this evening. The wind bent the largest trees to the ground. I'm happy to still have my roof.

I graduated from school with a degree in Bachelor of Science is what my teachers told me is a good enough degree to get hired in the art world but I don't know what in the art world I want to do. It took me six-years to get a four-year degree and eight years after graduating from high-school to figure out what I want to do with my life. I want to be a freelance artist creating my own work and doing commissions for others but even with my degree the level that I am at now is not good enough to sell neither am I at the level I want to be at. So.... I am taking the rest of my twenties to get at that level starting at ground zero and learning the basics from this website I found www.drawabox.com.
