I've been re-reading the Harry Potter Series, and now am on a quest to do a small illustration for each of the books. This one is from "The Sorcerer's Stone" and features Mrs. Norris, my favorite evil cat.

The monsters we create A collection of creatures born from our impact and existance on Earth. This is a work in progress project, it doesn't yet have a name, but the story becomes more clear every day. Soon I will have more details about it, until then take care, this runner is taking a real shape and it's after you. Another ”serie” what i’ve been drawing lately. Weird creatures or living trees at woods.

The 3x3 Illustration Annual I was recently chosen to be in, inspired this recent doodle. Fireworks went off in my head and then spilled out on this Moleskine page.

True Like. Because everything on the internet is true, right?

I drew these guys with a Pilot Custom 823 FA and Platinum Carbon Black ink. The FA nib has a good drawing width on watercolor paper - one of my favorites. It's a soft nib but I don't use the line variation, just some nice shock absorption with each downstroke. The Carbon Black ink is out-of-this-world good, though being pigmented I fear keeping it in too many pens.
