Travelling whales.

Quite often I’ll get ambushed with flyers and the like whilst out and about. Thankfully, I have use for said materials.

Can't sleep, go for a ride.

I was tired of carrying around a bunch of Microns. I want one or two refillable pens so I started with buying a new Lamy AL-Star Fountain Pen. I love it. I got the medium nib and am able to get a nice range of line width from it. This and maybe a fine nib and I'll be all set for a travel kit. This is the first page I drew with it.

This is part of a broader idea for a big busy city teeming with different characters. Some of those characters will travel deeper through this city and through different lands. Eventually they get back to where they started from.

When I read the first book of the "Outlander"-Series by Diana Gabaldon, I was really inspired by the idea of travelling in time through places like Stonhenge. This is what it looks like in my head.

i am so happy that i just found this sketch on my ipad. my grandfather and my family love cars like this. drawing this was so much fun, because it reminded me of all the great memories we had while travelling in the lovely car of my grandpa. thank you for reading & hope you have a wonderful daay!:)

I was travelling two weeks ago, the train moved fast, so the only thing outside the train stable enough to be sketched was the sky.

I've wandered Brechfa forest in Carmarthenshire on several occasions, but have only seen a very small part of what this huge forest has to offer. I'm hoping that once travel restrictions are lifted, I can get back out there and explore more. Pen on sketchbook paper (6"x8")

Recently-ish I was obsessed with the idea of travelling, wandering cats who wear clothes.

It wasn't the rancid water or the snagging weeds that deterred travellers from the Old Bog Way: it was the endless sense of being watched.
