This is the next redo on tap. It's a watercolor painted in about 2006. Likely I'll only change values of the leaves--the lighter ones. And I will try to define the yellow petunias better.

so this lovely frog, i call him tommy, wrote a song and plays it for his friends.
he was worried about what they will think. of course his friends love the new song and he feels so supported.

Long ago a banana fell into an unknown bay and was washed out to sea. Through strange circumstances this creature evolved into an air breathing, free-swimming, sun loving, epipelagic level dwelling, migratory creature that reproduces by budding. It is rarely seen. If a predator is sensed nearby the animal folds in its fins and tail and if ever observed it is considered a water soaked piece of fruit and is usually avoided.
(Saw a banana lying on the counter and it seemed to be looking at me. A quick photo and some manipulation and art work in Procreate brought forth a Musa Marinus.)
I really struggle with the sumo wrestler pose. Difficult perspective and proportion as the body should lean forward. Difficult volume as a sumo wrestler is some kind of maximal volume of a body. Difficult balance in crouch position.

And this is the painting re-done (Posted original the other day). Original painting was done in 2006! I'm sorting through my art--what is worth a little more work--and what cannot be saved!!! This has been an emotionally challenging project. For one thing, in many of the paintings slated for re-do, I'm looking into my past.
Hi everyone, as a freelance photographer, I always choose for myself very close and ancient inspirations. Suddenly I remembered that my grandfather's room was still kept until now, so I took my camera and ran over there. Just like I feel a scene full of classics and peaceful, this is where my grandfather used to read newspapers, magazines, science books and meditate with a cup of tea or coffee. But this room is now locked and vacant because my grandfather passed away 2 years ago. I still often come to this room to clean up and sit down to think and remember the memories of the two grandparents in the past. Memories are so dear and beautiful
This is an acrylic painting on pre-stretched canvas. It features a pop art style of pink and teal and purple shapes in a sort of abstracted floral pattern, but wait, that's a flower there too. hello☺️✨ one day my mum and i drove around and we found a place with some old cars, busses and caravans. absolutly fell in love with them. we took some photos there and when i came home, i really wanted to draw them. so, i started drawing and it was so much fun. this drawing was inspired of one of those lovely cars we saw then. wish you a wonderful day!
