Working on tan paper. If you'd like to see my process there's a video of me painting this over on my Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9jc-09Sjzs
My latest illustration created for an illustration technique demo video. Oil drawing transfer technique. Watercolor resists the oil drawing on the paper. Sometimes oil and water do mix.
"Retro 1" is a quick freehand drawing I created last year. Size of the original is 9" x 12". I used Posca pens on archival paper. Limited edition prints are available. I wanted to measure how far I have come. In 2023 I drew Voxs screen, well today I redrew it and got this as a result. I'm not one to feel a sense of pride, but damn I'm feeling proud. I have done a lot of self taught with my art and using Ipad and procreate. I did take a art class in college which was basic sketching. I have watched videos, listened to others and just observed to get where I am. I don't know if my art will take me anywhere. But what I do know is, its my outlet, my vent, my escape.
Is it art? I’m not sure but it took some color coordination. I made this while watching an E-learning video. Goes to show how much I care about the busy work that teachers are assigning.
Did you guys know you can paint with bubbles?? Theres tons of youtube videos on how to do it, it is so much fun. But watch out for floating paint bubbles, it's very messy... p.s. you dont have to use watercolor, I used acrylic and food coloring annnnd I'll get a clearer picture tomorrow
Finally indulging in the Knuckles mini-series over on Paramount Plus! I’m only two years late to that party, hahaha :-D
It’s influencing my creativity as you can see…
