hi! I'm uploading this as my first sketch with my character here just to introduce myself. I want to have a small place for daily sketches and I hope this website will work just fine for that.
Can you believe this is my first time drawing Bowser? It's not perfect, but I love how it turned out for a first. I did this because my sister found this non-profit organization that makes lunch packages for hungry children. This organization is allowing people to send them decorated paper lunch bags for them to use. We're about to send our first batch and I'm so excited! I have the links if you want to join the fun!
I'm working on finishing this with watercolor and pen. It symbolizes growing up and the important relationships between old and young. Critiques are appreciated.
Eren was born and raised in the Shiganshina district located on the southern edge of the Maria Wall. He lived there until 845, when the Titans broke through the wall, leading the way for other Titans to invade and destroy the city. During the incident that day, Eren witnessed his mother being murdered by a laughing Titan. Part of the V4 animatronic --- the predecessor to Elizabeth; who was destroyed in a fire, and had to be replaced due to the major damage caused. Drawn with FireAlpaca.
Long ago a banana fell into an unknown bay and was washed out to sea. Through strange circumstances this creature evolved into an air breathing, free-swimming, sun loving, epipelagic level dwelling, migratory creature that reproduces by budding. It is rarely seen. If a predator is sensed nearby the animal folds in its fins and tail and if ever observed it is considered a water soaked piece of fruit and is usually avoided.
(Saw a banana lying on the counter and it seemed to be looking at me. A quick photo and some manipulation and art work in Procreate brought forth a Musa Marinus.)
I really struggle with the sumo wrestler pose. Difficult perspective and proportion as the body should lean forward. Difficult volume as a sumo wrestler is some kind of maximal volume of a body. Difficult balance in crouch position.
And this is the painting re-done (Posted original the other day). Original painting was done in 2006! I'm sorting through my art--what is worth a little more work--and what cannot be saved!!! This has been an emotionally challenging project. For one thing, in many of the paintings slated for re-do, I'm looking into my past.
