Finally got round to watching Hunt For The Wilderpeople, after eons of procrastinating over doing so, and was well chuffed at how great it was! Gave me some much needed inspiration for some art as well, always a bonus. Can see what the Deadpool 2 guys saw in Julian Dennison that’s for sure, and of course Sam Neill was brilliant as well. Can’t be forgetting Taika Waititi either for directing it! Excellent job from all in my opinion :)

40th birthday present from my wife- our little family. Our hand painted wooden peg family was purchased from an artist on Etsy (allipopemade) and will hopefully be in our family forever. Makes me smile every day.

So, my daughter is highly obsessed with FNAF Foxy, she requested me to paint her a Foxy, so I think I kind of nailed it. She's in love with it and had to have it on her wall immediately. I'm pretty proud of this painting, because I'm still learning how to paint and such. I do love using Acrylics. This was a lot of fun to do. So many different images of him out there, I just hope I captured his color scheme well. I know my daughter says I did. :3 Also, if she's happy, I'm happy.... now she wants the rest of the FNAF characters to hang on her wall. Imma be a busy mum for sure.

Starting this past winter I began redoing some of my old artwork. This one was painted about 15 years ago--is quite pale. Soon I'll be brightening it, adding more value contrast. After each redo is done, I choose the next. Anyone else out there do redos? I'd love to hear about your experiences.

This is a bit of mixed media here. I used Acrylic paints and Arteza colored pencils. This was my first attempt on trying to be kind of realistic, I think it turned out pretty decent. First OFFICIAL Commission! 8x10, Watercolor and Pen. Hey everyone! This time, I'm actually back. First off, let me say I was not planning to fall off the face of the Earth again. At the time I last posted, I had a little less than a month of school left and I had hoped I could wrap up all my final projects early and be done. I was wrong. My teachers assigned more and I had work due up to the day before school ended, but I survived! Since my last post, I do have some updates. 1. I did indeed graduate high school! I was very lucky my school not only had a ceremony, but it was at Soldier Field. (I'm very happy to say I graduated Summa Cumme Laude and with the honors of completing the Alpha STEM and the Arts program.) 2. I also got an Instagram! I'll be using it not only to post final pieces but also as a way to post progress. {@mapalomar.arts} With regards to this painting, it is my first official commission, past commissions were from people I knew (family or friends) but this one isn't. I can say I'm pretty proud of the end result, especially as a person who doesn't consider themself a watercolor artist, it's not too shabby. :) Anyway, I hope this piece will have a safe journey all the way to its new home in Massachusetts.

Polaris (red-ish bot) is AA-1's partner. They were originally built to redirect AA-1's plans to be less violent, however (as seen later when they begin the Age of Fire) this backfires. Hope you like it, most of the coloring was done by mouse, as I was too lazy to get my drawing tablet.

Sometimes people just don't understand that "It's not just a car ". It's MUSTANG GT. ⁣ I was in love with Mustang since first drive. Lol not in Real Life . My first sight was in NFS Most Wanted. After watching Razor's modified look. I was soo in love . Thats how it started. ⁣ It's an Acrylic Painting. Its been almost a year I haven't tried Acrylic. So thought to paint an automobile and there I found my love Mustang ⁣ Looking forward to make more automotive paintings. ⁣

Another arachnid inspired oc,im not certain if I want to make him a demon creature yet its just a random design I simply thought of,I was inspired by emperor scorpions.

Dinosaur doodling is the way of things today.

I tried to make a campfire setting, with a cozy tent, the warm fire eliminating the night, the trees in the background and of course, the stars the the sky for perfect stargazing. The purpose was to create a scene, where someone would be comfortable, just lying there, enjoying everything.

@Esterizion I attempted to recreate this I had a lot of fun doing it. It doesn’t look that great but it was my first time using mix brushes.

(Fineliner on 190mm x 120mm paper) This was one of the more larger pieces I did last year (and by large I mean just under A5). It depicts a friendly alien species who, having travelled light years across space, shared the fruits of their knowledge with us, and assimilated into human life as best they could, is still confronted with one of those age-old questions of ignorance.

I’ve been drawing a lot of noses lately and this is originally where it began, but then i was having too much fun cx let me know what you think!

This was my very first attempt at the grid. I restarted drawing about October or November of 2020. I was watching something on YouTube and a video came up about a street artist who uses the grid method when scaling up their artwork for the sides of buildings. It got me thinking ... and drawing ... and learning. Its so much fun to watch something slowly come to life from the paper. This was done in a sketchbook. After that I went and got a 9 x 12 inch Strathmore drawing pad - series 300. I have researched paper and I found a great deal on the Strathmore Series 500 roll. 40 inches (or something) by 8 yards! I can't wait to see how the projects improve when the quality of the paper increases. I am currently working on a gift for a friend. Its a drawing of their baby in a little piggy outfit. Unfortunately - I won't post it because its a picture of someone's baby ( I don't have permission - yet) ... but I am super happy with it so far!
