A fantastical bullwhale creature with a mix of whale and bull features glides through a vibrant, swirling, blue and orange hues body of water. Highlights include spending time on a lake with beloved friends, a chukar (a partridge native to Asia) walking into Home Depot and a happy young woman in a beautiful red dress in a subway. I love watching people in subways (and everywhere else).

Completed my first commission of the year — inspired by my Dream Tree mural in Bristol, for a couple from the neighbourhood who walk by the mural nearly every day
Watercolour pencils and gouache on A4. I did this today at a Urban Sketchers meet up in the National Museum of Scotland - although, I guess, strictly speaking it does not fulfil the urban sketching requirements :D
