This is part of a beautiful moment that was created as I was painting on these mini watercolour sheets. During the journey, I painted around 5 paintings. I drew this at Sturtevant falls in la. This tree is to the right of the waterfall on the edge of the cliffy hillside.

Watercolor 2003-4. Patience, good temperament, civility, humility, love describes my grandmother's life--born in the late 1800s, she faced more difficulties in life than I have ever faced. This painting represents longing to return to her.

Trees in a reflection have always been a subject of interest to me. I have created several of this version, trying to fine-tune my skills and explore some opaque techniques.
