The Soul Harvest
The Soul Harvest is done in a surrealistic style and is spiritual in content. This painting
illustrates the world as being a field filled with souls from every corner of the earth
needing to be saved from eternal death, which is the punishment for sin.
But by hearing and understanding and receiving the good news, through faith in
Jesus’s death for the sin of man, man can be forgiven and have eternal life with God.
The farm tools leaning against the fence are an invitation to those who know Jesus
to pick up their God-given talents and go into the world and use them to spread the
good news.
The inside of the barn, with the wheat sheaths standing up, illustrates the souls that
have received eternal life through the work of the believer, and the crown is their
reward from God.

An animatronic especially designed for a particular individual to climb into it, only for them to get impaled by a variety of steel bits. However, this particular individual was never captured, for their execution was performed only several days after the finishing of this product... so it sits, motionless, in the unused areas of Ringmaster's Pizza Hall. A concept for a 19th-century survey vessel that will be the setting for a comic. Has both steam power and auxiliary sails, of course! The bubble in the middle is a weather balloon that can be deployed from midships.
The Garden of Ede. I sat down at the dining table and drew the garden from that perspective. The city is called Ede. It was on the 9th of December on a rainy day. Typical Dutch weather.
Tried out some layerish-style flowers using the alcohol markers. Not sure weather I like the result or not, but it’s definitely worth mastering the medium for the effects are rather cool. In theory... Unfortunately the camera sharpens the image and the flowers are more soft and blurry in reality. They look rather fancy and mysterious on the opposite side, too.
