Lápiz graduado - graduate pencil exercise

I was thinking of a melancholy mood with roses.

Watercolour, ink and gouache on a graphic design students work from Leipzig 1923. Created during lockdown in response to Corona. For sale.

This is a 19 in by 24 in oil painting on Bristol paper. I love this piece because of the textures and the bright but muted colors. I did this in 2019 in the spring at the Fashion Institute of Technology. The professor always pronounced "fruit" in a very bazaar way. It was a great class overall.

I came across a photo of the actor Christopher Lloyd looking very forlorn, which inspired this spare drawing.

(2B pencil on an A7 page) This is one of eight images I used in a small booklet I made about "The Little Black Book" and the contacts and comments people would write in such address books. This one is of a pirate. Others include a superhero, an alien, a witch, an angel, and a cat. This is that black and white doodle from the other day, all colored in! I want to eventually make an adult coloring book, maybe this could be one of the pages? Just a thought!
