Done with Pencil. My hand seemed to have a mind of its own. I just drew as I went along. I didn’t see it first in my mind. That’s why it basically escaped on its own from thin air.

My first attempt at doing a portrait with a ballpoint pen. After having dedicated a lot of time to improving my digital art I took a break from it and turned to pen/pencil on paper and am quite happy with what I manage to create on my first attempt.

For this piece, I was actually recreating a friend's artwork. She does paper and pencil, and I do digital.

I don't know what possessed me to draw and paint on my water pic.. but wen the urge comes to create, I believe anything will capture the doodles if you make it so. Here... I was getting ready for bed and thought wouldn't it be nice to be on an island right now.

My son and I were blowing bubbles in liquid watercolors with dish soap, then putting the bubbles on the paper. I took a pen to some of mine, and these little guys appeared.

05/11/2019 ••• A bit rough, this one. Freehanded with pencil, followed over with Sharpie. Had a lot of fun making random shapes :)
