This is my tribute to an art community: SoulDoodles. It inspires adults to connect with their inner child

Inspired by things to come.

I'm working on a portrait of Brigid, Goddess of Fire.It is a different perspective than my usual. (I have too many half finished artworks).

Street Chess Player

Illustrated a steaming cup of hot chocolate topped with fluffy marshmallows and whimsically placed sticks

I gravitated towards the fony baobab, a real type of baobab. Sadly, all baobabs are in decline, which informed my composition. I used pastel earth tones and a lot of blacks. Digitally hand-drawn in Rebelle 6

People on the internet like cats, right?

Drawing/Painting practice

Drawing florals in the landscape scenery was a pleasure I gave myself on Friday afternoon. Just a relaxing and creative process without any expectations is something every artist needs. Give yourself a bit of pleasure today

Something I’ve been working on for fun, a project from illustrator Victor Beuren’s Domestika class “Search-And-Find Illustration in Procreate”. One of the rare Singapore-inspired artworks I’ve done, and I don’t think I’ve ever drawn so many human beings in one piece… but challenge accepted!!!

Head #7 of my 100 Heads.

Pencil sketch for a cover for a book I'm working on.

All this and who-knows-what.

For Valentine's Day, I wanted to paint my husband and me. I think it turned out great. We'll print it and put it up somewhere in the house.

I was working on nighttime or dark themes and trying to get more contrast than the last piece I made. I wanted to also work on atmospheric perspective and depth with the clouds. Overall, I am pretty happy with the outcome. This is from a reference picture my husband took from our backyard. Painted with Rebelle 6 Pro.

You hide your flaws while I embrace mine.

It's a quick digital recreation of my last gouache painting. And I don't like it very much. - I had trouble finding a good brush for painting leaves on the top of the tree. - There is no magic like in traditional art. - I didn't enjoy drawing as much as painting with gouache. - I couldn't peel off the tape when I was done.

Digital figure painting done in Adobe Photoshop. Learning how to paint skin, how can I push this further? I would appreciate any advice or feedback. Orignal photo and model credits croquiscafe.com.

Sheep just chillin' and listening to those gentle tunes... Digital illustration.

Sketchbook #4. Sometime after having watched "ARKANE".

Crosshatching was used to build up the shadows. It's probably my favourite drawing technique. Works best with pen and ink. This is the cover image for one of my children's picture books.
