Clemence was supposed to be the only child but to create more conflict I decided to give her a younger teen sister name Calamity, who's blue, figuratively and literally.she's not goth, she just likes wearing black.Calamity, like most teens, has self-esteem issues and has no hope in herself and thinks the future is going to be grim.

(HB pencil on 181mm x 87mm paper) Another work I did for the Christmas cards I give to people each year. With this one, it shows a "chickydoll" Christmas elf by the name of Trixie. These Christmas cards always come with a story attached to them. It can be read here: https://www.skavart.co.uk/2021/12/merry-christmas-2021-black-feather.html
It is because of hope that I dare to change, it is with hope, with that change, no matter how small, I let a spark of hope, burn a new trail of possibilities
A quirky pen & ink piece . . . This one was super fun to draw! The situation being depicted continually brought me smiles as I was working on it . . . and I have my sister and the Lord to thank for the inspiration. ❤️
