Woke up in the middle of the night the other week and saw the moon shining bright through the branches outside. It looked pretty neat so I got a picture and recreated it.
Hey everyone! This is an interactive website I did for my BFA thesis this year. The piece explores the struggles I’ve faced as a black, lesbian woman. This piece features events that happened when I was in an unhealthy relationship in high school, from late-2016 to mid-2017. The work combines CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML with digitized images that I drew on paper, using black colored pencil. I'd really appreciate some feedback and critique for this work. It's best viewed on laptops or monitors, using Chrome or Microsoft edge. It does weird things with Safari. Thanks :). Here's the site link: https://artportfolio.bgsu.edu/~kiraw/
This is only the second time I've done pixel art. (both times were today) This is based on my own hand, which has rather stubby fingers, but I added some lighter touches that make it more feminine than my own. (I rather like my black nails, thank you very much)
The Good Shephard. I finally colored it in, added grass and clouds and stuff. Originally inspired by a picture I saw at my grandparents house. If we feel like a little black sheep at times just remember that Jesus will leave the 99 to go in search of us, no matter what our sins may be. Divine Pastor, Good Shephard Jesus, have mercy on us! ^_^ #goodshepard, #Jesus, #God, #Christian, #Catholic, #Sheep, #Pastor, #Divine, #Human, #Pasture, #Search, #Mercy,
