I got three paintchip cards from a big paint company in the mail and decides to paint some moths over the holidays. This is the first one, done with acrylic paints, posca pens and karinmarkers.
I had some 5x7 postcards produced if you're looking for some whimsical paintings to frame or use to mail to friends. I'll throw some stickers in with each order.
I've recently made a card display for my cards and prints at an art space I'm exhibiting in for a while. Had to doodle the back, I couldn't not the doodle the back, which I think adds to the charm of my display being handmade and selling my merch... Things people like, cats and flower. Here combined in a gold foil exclusive birthday card. I am trying out different styles for cards with matching patterns. The hope is to sell it and become full time card, placement and surface designer. I just craw all the time and forget about selling. Now I need to get into business and act some more. Do you think it has a chance, and do you even have an idea of where to sell it?
Oh my gosh it has been a really long while since I uploaded ANYTHING on here. Just a random eye sketch I did with a blue crayon, nothing super fancy or anything, but I think it turned out okay looking. Also decided to embellish it with a spade, my personal favorite suit when it comes to cards, I have no idea why, I just like it and thought it would look cool.
I created this piece yr 2016 as portfolio to get into a company doing sketch card art, but by asking some sketch card artists on this site about how much you get paid for doing this sketch card art`and it was so ridiculous that I decided to not send this portfolio piece to the trading card company also you have to give up your original artwork to the company cuz they need to put this sketch card art in the pack of trading cards so lucky buyer will get the original sketch card that is the idea. For how much they paying the artists for giving up their original art did not make any sense to me .
Done 2016 with color pencil and ink on 2.5 x 3.5 bristol. It is sketch card. Original art $20+s/h and I am open for commission using color pencil or lead pencil for original artwork.
