“I cannot imagine life without work as really comfortable,” Freud wrote to a friend in 1910. With his wife, Martha, to efficiently manage the household—she laid out Freud’s clothes, chose his handkerchiefs, and even put toothpaste on his toothbrush—the founder of psychoanalysis was able to maintain a single-minded devotion to his work throughout his long career.
Freud’s long workdays were mitigated by two luxuries. First, there were his beloved cigars, which he smoked continually, going through as many as twenty a day from his mid-twenties until near the end of his life, despite several warnings from doctors and the increasingly dire health problems that dogged him throughout his later years. In this scenario, Gattie Gator is being (possibly) coned or scammed into buying something from a smiling salesman. While her aquaphobic brother (hence the innertube) is about to be a snack for some furocious creatures. Will Gattie be save her bro in time? Or is he doomed to be a disasterous dinner special?
Every couple of months, I turn a bunch of my doodles or rough mini sketches into stickers. I draw them directly onto sticker paper and seal them with bookbinding foil. These foxes will be Christmas presents.
So here Is a random doodle I did. But that’s not all why I posted this. I grew up with my dad doing art around me. He’s a makeup artist. He is on here too see if you can find him LOL. He is such a good artist. I guess I had that artist shame of my art not being good enough. I always thought that. Until I realized recently that I have my own style. His style is his! I realized that my art is amazing but I don’t always think that because I watched his art. Also to add, I am not a patient artist most of my art is done in a day. That’s why it’s not the best it could be.

Although I got too carried away trying to capture the reflections to really capture the effect I was after. Also, even though I try to do a line drawing and ink it, my painterly sensibilities keep coming through. When I get a brush pen, I use it like a brush...
I've always loved drawing on various objects! This coffee-lid is from several years ago but I still love it and have it hanging on the bulletin board near my art desk.
Shes served her best Christmas with an enormous train led by Brain Tanaka. I used charcoal and pastel brushes in Rebelle 6. I wanted a really simple composition so I could focus on her dress and their pose together. Happy Holidays everyone.
