This artwork portrays a sense of love and mutual agreement/understanding using snakes as the conceptual medium through which the action and emotion is portrayed

Painting the environments and destinations the nature offers us. The use of warm colors to depuct the blissful experience along eith the play of nature light and elements.
...initially was going to replace the spiders meal for a banana (referring to the piece #Comedian created by artist #Maurizio_Cattelan)...but just could not do it. Had some good conversation about the concept, so hope it leads to more.
Instead, it has lead me to explore some other ideas.

Painted as my final project for my Painting Environments course. I was super nervous about tackling this one, but learned a ton taking this course. I'm happy to move on to the next one. :-)
Ironwood Forest
Project parameters:
- Forest full of massive trees
- Implied path
- River rambling through tree roots
- Waterfall
Just some time wasters I did. I would explain it, but it would require me to go into way too much comic nerd information. Its essentially a comic character that I redesigned (no its not the Joker). I really love concept art, and character design. I'm really not good at it, but I delve into it periodically for fun.
One of the most difficult practices is being ready to accept anything and everything that comes, without judgement, staying in the moment with our experience. This is a powerful practice. I tried to express some essence or feeling of it.
After 1.5 hrs of experimenting...
It wasn't easy to decide on what body shape my character should have. Through an "intuitive approach" of shifting anatomical proportions, it was still decided to remain on an avian's concept instead of a wyvern's. Wyvern can be kept to the wyvern... The phoenix needs something more like an bird's, after all.
p.s: I also have to remember to keep the neck shorter...

I wanted to draw a few of the characters and the logo in my style. Ryu is the main character, and I like Catwoman type characters, so I thought Katt looked fun to draw. Also, I drew the logo slightly different from the original. I don't like to draw every detail exact.
