Mermay Day 25: Haircut

A mini box that I decorated to keep some of my crystals in. I've made several of these as gifts for friends, so I thought I'd make one for myself.

A cute girl Cocker Spaniel goes out sketching. And is having a good time.

Cute critters and kitchen goods form a unique pattern.

Light brown,long hair is no more! awful haircut with an awful drawing (yes that's supposed to be me)

This is based on a couple of lino cut prints, acrylic paint and gold ink. I have rediscovered my love of lino cut printing after many years and hope to do much more of it.

The faces come out cute but it is difficult to give them a matching body lol. Feel like I am trying to put a doll together.

For day 27 I made a very diluted India ink wash and painted a cityscape at night with white ink over it. I like how it turned out! Naïve and quirky.

I just finished this for a friend. He is in construction and it seems like we're always talking philosophy and where we fit in the universe whenever we're working on a project together.
