The last few days, I've been going through my drawing journals dating back to 1977, mainly to purge them, but also to reminiscence. I laughed at this comic- one of many that I had forgotten about- of a conversation with an artist friend I've known since 1984, when I went to visit in her pottery shop.
Eren was born and raised in the Shiganshina district located on the southern edge of the Maria Wall. He lived there until 845, when the Titans broke through the wall, leading the way for other Titans to invade and destroy the city. During the incident that day, Eren witnessed his mother being murdered by a laughing Titan. This event aroused in Eren an intense hatred for the Titans, and he vowed to wipe them all from the face of the earth.This photo is protected by my copyright. And this is the painting re-done (Posted original the other day). Original painting was done in 2006! I'm sorting through my art--what is worth a little more work--and what cannot be saved!!! This has been an emotionally challenging project. For one thing, in many of the paintings slated for re-do, I'm looking into my past.
I wanted to take snapshots of my day at the beach so I came up with the idea of doing story boards, little snippets of moments. Felt less pressure for perfection and created an atmosphere still.
This is a digital drawing of another species I designed. Please do not use or claim the species as your own. I took great care creating this creature and I love it to bits. Took me a few days to complete because of other life events, and I tend to go slow, especially when I get caught up in the details. But I was discovering this was something I was eager to get back to; thinking about it through the day and figuring out how to finish it. Right now it’s on pause as I think how to do the background. :)
Request from @flammabledaydream The pixel on wolf is higher for some reason. I couldn’t fix that and didn’t want to re do it. I think it’s okay. If you know the story you will understand why there are tomatoes LOL.
