Hey everyone, sorry for such a long hiatus! The main reason is that I haven't been drawing so I had nothing to post. I also went through a name change, from BurningCinders to Umbra! For this piece, I played around with some new brushes and attempted to play with fog for the first time.

Still behind but whatever :P Day 2: mindless. I had an idea for this prompt and will probably still do it, but this is a doodle I just mindlessly did on the front of my sketchbook. This is my attempt to draw my cat. It looks nothing like her but at least it looks like a cat.

Here's a traditional art sketch card, produced on a 4 X 5 inch blank licensed card. The cut lines are set at 2.5 X 2.3 standard trading card size. Artwork is Copic marker and Prismacolor colored pencil. This card was created as a random insert for the 2018 Rittenhouse Archives Star Trek Captains collection Card series. Lead pencils F,B-B7, kneatable- ,normal-, pencil eraser, paper stomps, tissue on A3 bamboo fibre rag paper. Choose to draw her bald, for no particular reason. Zoom in for full detail. Photographed in the sunlight with the canon 28 mm f/1.8 prime lens. Photoshop for greysteps contrast-boost and cropping. Like if you dare. Or else post some critique. Just some try to imagine Christina bald. Realistic? Still doodling? Her eyes are like dominating the whole draw... kind of unreal, isn´t it?

I took a few moments out of my day to attempt to use most of the coloring tools in Krita whilst drawing a rough character design.

Since folks like the one of Mars, I figured I should upload this one as well. Same concept, but I think the Mars one worked better for the commission.

I finished this drawing a day after I hiked to the top of the rocks, I did this during spring break this year in 2018. (Drawing is 6x4 inches in size. ) TIME: 1 hour 20 minutes

Bear and Crow are good friends. When bear was in a grumpy mood, crow came down to cheer him up.
