My drawings depict figures that are created from my imagination. My figures are distorted and usually out of proportion as I prefer not to be constrained by reality of what we see around us . My work typically is done using a simple black biro. I find the act of drawing a vehicle to express and explore ideas in figurative forms.

A super deformed Big Red! It was fun to turn Hellboy into a drawing like this. Even though this is the same style I've used for other SD drawings I've done previously, I tried to add as much Mike Mignola style as I could. It was an interesting challenge. I think there needed to be something extra to go along with it, so I added a background slice full of monsters, skeletons, and other scary stuff. Some of it was inspired by various drawings from Hellboy comic covers, and some of it I make up. Please take a moment to take a closer look. I was a lot of fun to work on that, and I think I will try to incorporate more of that style into my work in the future. I started practicing gesture drawings using a variety of methods, also using references from the interwebs.

gonna be putting up older reference drawings. I don't draw humans well, thus practice occurs.

I tried using blue again, i like it better when it comes to these types of drawings (eyes, trees, buildings) but i will definitely be using black for creature and animal drawings. Let me know what you think, comment any tips for improvements, or even just to say what you do like about it; feedback is welcome on all my art.

Sorry about the lighting, but it’s still pretty clear. I decided against the rope in its mouth. I despise colored pencils and don’t really like how they look on most drawings. So I just tried to finish this as fast as I could.
