Unfinished value study for a painting, worked in graphite on hot pressed watercolor paper. Drafted and rendered using the Bargue method. Hopefully, I got the photo oriented correctly so that the drawing will be right side up, once I upload it! If anyone has advice for photographing a heavy application of graphite, without getting weird reflectiveness, or speckled effects, I’m very interested!
For the doodle-a-day prompt 'kiss' I went for a thimble to keep with my loose 'lost boys' theme! If you don't remember: Wendy offers Peter Pan a kiss and he holds his hands out, he doesn't know what a kiss is. She then hands him a thimble. Pretty cute - stick a cute face on it then it's SUPER CUTE
Been bingeing The Legend of Korra with my 3-year old. He *loves* the intro. In fact, I've caught him "bending" in the kitchen a few times. Cutest. Thing. Ever. Anyway, thought I'd give him his own intro. Meet your new Avatar.
Drawing is my best friend ever. He helped me so much and still today he helps me to stay calm. He has always been there for me, good and bad. Drawing for life and never, I'll stop drawing rather die.
This is my friend "shar" that is always there for me as a child in Africa living in those round huts. I could talk to him, share my moments of joy, sorrows, pain, and confusion. Anywhere I go he is always there with me, he is my angel.

An illustration for a personal project
I've been really busy lately. I took a break that was supposed to be a 10 minute doodle break, and this was the result. Well, its the inks of the sketch result. I have no idea if the colors will work the way I intend, but I'll post those after they're finished.
Been playing with something new for the grumpicorns! If anyone has some my little ponies they don't need, I will gladly take them off your hands!
