For a Dutch science museum I illustrated and later animated this interior of a fictional space ship.

So many saddening things happened in my beloved country. When Lombok haven’t revived from the disaster, another city was devastated by a huge earthquake and tsunami. Whenever I open the social media, there are people asking for help to find their missing family members. My heart races, hoping that they will reunite soon and alive. I can’t do anything besides praying for them. I’m also frightened to think that the disaster could happen in my city too. So, if you’re reading this, I’m asking for your prayers. May god protect us all.

This is the converted school bus that belonged to Route 66 super sketcher Bob Waldmire (RIP). It's here at our museum, so I sketched it one day. It's an amazing studio/home on wheels!!

This is everyone who smokes. Even if I want to just talk about the science and neurology of Nicotine and Dopamine, this always comes up.

We wrapped up our trip with South of the Border, the schlockiest, most-borderline-offensive Mexican-themed South Carolina rest stop of all time. Then we hit Raleigh's art museum, and went home. The last few sketches of my sketchbook were me flipping through my photos and drawing a few favorite things I hadn't gotten to drawing yet. Thanks for traveling with me!

My adventures in Florida continue. While my husband recovers from Lyme Disease, we head on over to Universal Studios for Harry Potter time. Then we go to a skeleton museum and Ripley's Believe it or Not.

There was a royal lineage in Europe that was so inbred that their jaws started getting really distended and weird. Like Jay Leno, but inbred. (I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt.) Feel free to look up the Hapsburgs. I'll wait. The second picture is a Fiji mermaid and a merman. I think I want a merman tattoo. SMOLDER.

There's a moment in Black Panther where Michael B Jordan's character steals an African mask from a museum. When the other character with him asks why, he says "I'm just feelin' it." The mask he grabbed was VERY cool, and I kind of wanted one, too. But, short of stealing things out of museums, I guess I'll have to draw them. Here we have some very fancy European history folks, a creature that might be a dummy, and Harry Potter as a nervous waiter who can't remember if you got diet or regular soda. Because, let's face it, Harry was never THAT good at magic.

I made an angel looking to throwdown! I colored in old artwork from a couple years ago. I'm practicing lineless art coloring in lieu of this weekend's art streams! This took me about 4+ hours to do, but it was a fun challenge!
