Pen and ink with colored pencils -Slightly sunburned, Fairy Maple took to doing her round at night. That is when she found Everett, the snail.

Taking this pic was challenging finding the right light for the moon and the stars pop up more imo and my frog was hard to color but I love how the lake came out with the shines from the moon and fireflies. I even took the time to paint some tall grass and reeds in the background ^^ hope you like!

Thanks for missing me, Doodle Addict app. Pastels - as in pastel colors? Well...depends on how far we can bend that. Inspired by the hurricane that passed through this evening. The wind bent the largest trees to the ground. I'm happy to still have my roof.

sketchbook half and half

I recently gained just about 2k followers on IG and haven’t done a dtiys challenge in almost a year so I thought hey why not?

I drew this at a zoom climate event on a postcard. It will be sent to a state politician. I drew it with colored pencils (I got inspired by @DoisPontoseMeio's art.) I think the face is good, that's the reason I uploaded it but the rest isn't that great (I'm still learning how to draw things other than faces.)

The woods in my backyard. This has been a shit year so far, don't cha think? I get a few minutes relief by looking into the dark spaces between sunlit trees. Trying to see the forms. I'm hoping to get better at just that this summer.

A super deformed Big Red! It was fun to turn Hellboy into a drawing like this. Even though this is the same style I've used for other SD drawings I've done previously, I tried to add as much Mike Mignola style as I could. It was an interesting challenge. I think there needed to be something extra to go along with it, so I added a background slice full of monsters, skeletons, and other scary stuff. Some of it was inspired by various drawings from Hellboy comic covers, and some of it I make up. Please take a moment to take a closer look. I was a lot of fun to work on that, and I think I will try to incorporate more of that style into my work in the future. Here is a fun illustration I made of the Mad Titan himself. I used Clip Studio Paint and my own custom brushes. This was meant to be kind of a dumb, simple drawing, but I think I added too much in the color and detail. Well, it looks cool anyway, I guess. The gems were fun to do, anyway. I drew this when i was in grade 9 in high school, now im 25 years old, i thought give her some life, now she shinning and alive now :) she is best naked drawing i did, now im doing alot more :)

So after I did the pencil shading on my little cartoon fairy and bug, I added in some color with colored pencil. I surprised myself with the result.

The other day I saw pictures of a Russian gala beginning of the 1900. The royalty was wearing extravagant beautiful clothing and they inspired this piece. Due to the card stock used and the subject I also decided to not use color but leave it at black, white and dark Grey. I would love feedback as I adore how it turned out. Is essence this to me was partially a study on the fashion of Russia in the 1900 as well as a chance to play around with 'colored' paper and how to use black and white to make most of what I had with me. I hope to make another piece like this again in the future, hopefully have it perhaps even more extravagant. This piece was made using. Thought I'd upload a closer look of my pfp lol, basically it's just an odd coloured dog with my favourite colours: pink and brown. With a fallout boy (big fan sksks) earring added to the mix.
