First one in a while to include a cut-up poem!

I'd like to introduce an old dear friend. This is my anxiety, depression, anger, and worst critic all in one package. He shows up alot in my doodles to criticize my work and life in general. I am a nervous wreck, which gives him his name.

I grew up drawing and illustrating, but 20+ years later, it hit me with force. I haven't looked back since. These are the first two practice sketches I made when I decided finally that I want to be an artist.

When you are in this forest, you are lost, until the sun rises again to show the path out of madness. This was one of the first large paintings, that I completed. Its a strange thing because when I was painting it, i distorted the horizon line.The line should be level by right.

I did these a long time ago. Some of the first portraits I ever did.The origionals that I used for reference are by an Italian artist.

A value study I did with my friend for practice. Based on a D&D picture we found online. First time using different shades of markers, so it isn't the cleanest piece when looking at it up close.

I am a developer, and coding is my world. But when it comes to, say, the "life" part of life skills? Not so much. After a grueling 72-hour coding marathon, fueled by nothing but caffeine and questionable decisions, I made a mistake I now regret on a cosmic level: I spilled coffee on my external hard drive, the very drive that stored access to my digital wallet, holding a significant sum. Her name is Belladonna and she is DC OC. ;) As I was drawing, I noticed how genius her design is. Her "villain" costume looks like the petals of a belladonna, her blonde hair and light skin like anthers (I belive that's how they called), her freckles like pollen. I don't know if it's inrentional, but it's amaizing! I can't draw clothes yet And hands And everything Spare me! It's also my first time drawing flowers :D

I haven't been here for a long time... I'm back with new art! I tried to draw it in the same ✨Chinese✨ style, ha-ha! The first day of Facetober, a drawing challenge on Instagram.

I followed along with my instructor from one of my udemy courses. This is my first time using a pen tablet, and my first time drawing/painting anything as well. I'm really proud of this, and can't wait to continue my course! I try to do one video a day.

Finally had a day to sit and scribble, first day in a long time. It's fast and loose, but I like how it turned out, and I had fun! My reference was a toy squirrel; but, I think love and death are a bit more interesting. Done in Photoshop. Watercolour and coloured pencil on watercolour paper. I did the complete outline with a paintbrush for the first time. It felt quite satisfying.
