Future you calling - To Whom It May Concern

My submission for the Doodle Addicts album cover challenge. Thank you so much for the votes, I appreciate them all! Here's the original description for the submission: Future you calling is a group that mixes electronic pop and rock with some vintage and retro vibes thrown in the mix. To Whom It May Concern is their newest album. It's like that strange record that you once found on the slightly shady flea market that closed down after one month. You wish you had bought it back then, so now is your chance to repair the damage and get this album instead. It's almost the same. We promise. (Future you calling is an invented band. I'm not musically skilled enough to make the band reality but I can always imagine how their albums would look like if existed. This illustration was painted in Photoshop using reference photos found on Pexels.)

Abstract nature. Whimsical illustration - Day 18.

Drawing trees and other landscape elements was my daily routine for the last two months. For two months, I've been developing my style. It's essential to create consistently in one style for a long time. It's the way you get to know better: - yourself, - what you like, - what you enjoy.

Wild Fresque

Il s'agit d'une fresque faite avec des animaux que j'ai rencontré durant mes stages de soigneur animalier Gris du Gabon, Cerf Sika, Renard roux et Raton laveur. Cela m'a pris un mois, j'en suis si fière. This is a fresco made with animals that I met during my training courses as animal caretaker Gabon Grey, Sika Deer, Red Fox and Raccoon. It take me a month, i'm so proud of it.

BEING GREEDY CHOKES ANANSI

BEING GREEDY CHOKES ANANSI From Favorite Folktales around the world by Jane Yolen. One time, Anansi lived in a country that had a queen who was also a witch. And she decreed that whoever used the word five would fall down dead, because that was her secret name, and she didn’t want anyone using it. Now, Buh Anansi was a clever fellow, and a hungry one too. Things were especially bad because there was a famine, so Anansi made a little house for himself by the side of the river near where everyone came to get water. And when anybody came to get water, he would call out to them, “I beg you to tell me how many yam hills I have here. I can’t count very well.” So, one by one he thought they would come up and say, “One, two, three, four, five,” and they would fall down dead. Then Anansi would take them and corn them in his barrel and eat them, and that way he would have lots of food in hungry times and in times of plenty.

The Sky at Night

A lino print that I made early art therapy. This was my second lino cut, after my practice cut, and the third I've done in my life. There are mistakes but I'm.still super happy with the outcome.

Snowy whirlwind. Whimsical illustration - Day 11.

I love hilly landscapes. But I'm not good at drawing them. The one thing that I should do is practice. I have to take a sketchbook and draw/paint 100 mountains. The trees also could be better. I failed by drawing details on this illustration. Day 11 of #whimsicalByMamaminia art challenge.

It’s messy, but i’m trying to do new things in my sketchbook and not worry about how “good” it looks. Im trying out new hair styles/looks and i’m working on a medium i don’t use a lot anymore (markers). I also decided to start shading using a blue and i think i really like that and will do it more often.

Al Heymans Magician Hat

Long story short:He is a ghost magician even though ghosts have magical powers themselves ex telekinesis teleportation invisibility shape shifting.therefore it would be pointless to be a magician however the talking book his father gave him gives him extraordinary powers never seen before .he becomes one to ultimately make people happy.I don't have an outfit for him yet but it has rainbows and stars.he doesn't wield a wand because he uses his hands.

tonight i can write the saddest lines

URASHIMA THE FISHERMAN From Favorite Folktales from Around the World by Jane Yolen. Then a last song burst from him as he struggled with his loss: “My love, when after a night of longing day dawns and I stand at my open door, I hear far off waves breaking on the shores of your Paradise!” If only he hadn’t opened that jeweled box, people have said since, he could have been with her again. But the clouds hid her Paradise from him and left him nothing but his grief. #dailydrawing #folktales #kidlitart #watercolor #janeyolen #sofreakingsad #tonighticanwritethesaddestlines

Lanterns. Whimsical illustration - Day 9.

Another version of lantern illustration. I wanted to redraw the last illustration. But I changed the concept while drawing. It's a beauty of creativity - it can surprise. The most important thing here is that I feel so happy when I draw illustrations in this style

Blue atmosphere.

I feel only positive emotions after drawing this landscape. It's a bit wintery, snowy, and magical. I love the background texture. But I still need to work on the details. Recently, I discovered the miraculous power of gouache. I ordered paints a few days ago (still waiting for the shipment). That's why there are only digital versions for now. I have already purchased a course on the Domestika platform. I'm going to try my skills at traditional painting on paper. It will be a big challenge. Fortunately, I have a great teacher :) Thanks, Ruth Wilshaw, for your Domestika course and daily inspiration to create! Day 6 of #whimsicalByMamaminia art challenge.

Tightrope - walkers in eternity by Esfir Shapiro | ArtCraftLand

segments , steps, blindfolded, a difference of language between the body and something subtle , lack of movement.click -switch! the union of body and soul , the disappearance of the blindfold from the eyes and the flight between the immensely endless bright layers of fields .I am very curious about the sophisticated nature of things and phenomena: myself, people the Universe, I like to consider and feel them like a multi-layered cake, where each layer has its own history, worldview, and even its own temperature. I love to listen lectures of charismatic lovers of philosophy, design, music, human psychology and I enjoy the excitement it brings and the birth of new layers inside me. I rarely manage to silence my inner critic and for many years I have been learning how to be able to do it productively. I am still in the process though. I treat my life as a long voyage, changing directions and yes - sometimes those around me. I understand that even 24 hours a day is not enough and I definitely realize that my life today is much more colorful and interesting than when I was 20 years old.

Expectations by Larisa Leah Dizlarka

The symbolic painting "Expectations" is filled in with both literal and metaphorical meanings. Time passes very quickly, but when we are waiting for something, it practically stands still. Expecting an event can be unbearably tiring, or it can be enjoyable. It all depends on the circumstances. And everyone can remember something similar. The girl depicted in the painting is possibly expecting a child, or perhaps some other event. She gently hugs the clock, a symbol of time, like the belly of a pregnant woman. This expectation reveals all her inner feelings, doubts, fears, and hopes associated with this event. Time drags on for an impossibly long period, so long that it seems to her that she has already grown old from this expectation. In the painting, the artist indicates this with the gray hair of a young girl. Despite the long wait, the girl smiles and hopes for the best. The artist used warm pastel colors of oil paints on canvas with gilding. The painting was created using clockwork to enhance the meaning. The artwork "Expectations" is part of a “Time” series of paintings with clocks.

Dorian Gray

• Dorian Gray • Dorian’s diabolical deal is such a fascinating, seductive idea, yet you just know, inherently, that it’ll all end in tears; that said, if such a thing could exist – a dodgy painting hidden in your attic, taking all the hits, could you consider it? Would you be tempted . . . any takers?

God Provides

God Provides Mural: acrylic paint on Stretched canvas. Size: H 30 “x 40” w 1” D In this mural I seek to illustrate How God through Jesus provide for the spiritual needs of humans. The first century fishing boat with its nets stretch out to dry on the shore, Jesus calls us to leave our old live behind and join Him on a new adventure. Just as he calls his disciples to leave their lives of fishing and join Him in bring people back to God. The illustration of a boy lunch in a desolate place, we are reminded that God know our physical as well spiritual needs. If we seek to put him first in our lives, He will take care of the rest. Jesus and Peter walking on the rage ocean, God call us to weather many great storms, to be able to participate in rescuing of the spiritually drawing. We always need to be reminded to keep our eye on Christ unless we become filled with fear and we become overwhelmed by our hostel environment and being to sink. Jesus on the cross, God knowing no sin, sent His son to be a sacrifice, the innocent trading place with a vile criminal to face a horrible death on the cross. We can all identify with Barabbas, for because of our sinful words and deeds, we ourselves are criminals before a Holy God. If we identify with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection from the dead, for the payment of our transgression. This is the only way to be forgiven and washed clean of our sinful past. We have been given the holy spirit to enable us to turn from sin and walk in the newness of life through His word and spirit. The rock with ALPA and OMEGA and Irish flower carved in it: represent Our eternal God who existed in the eternal past and will exist in the enteral future. The rock with dove facing down, represent the coming of Holy Spirit who Jesus sent, after He went back to Heaven. He came to teach us all truth about spiritual things, about God, to give us understand of His words, and to strength our bodies, minds, spirits to enable us to do the will of God. The rock with fish symbol: Represents the sign first century Christian would draw on the ground to test a person to find out if they were a true follower of Christ or if they were a spy, trying to expose were the Christians met for church. So, the Roman could arrest and kill Christians. How the test was administered: The initiator would drawl half the body of the fish in the grown, then the person being evaluated, if they were a Christian would know to draw the second half of the fish. an old woman with 5 cows

THE LITTLE OLD WOMAN WITH FIVE COWS From Favorite Folktales from Around the World by Jane Yolen. One morning a little old woman got up and went to the field containing her five cows. She took from the earth a herb with five sprouts and, without breaking either root or branch, carried it home and wrapped it in a blanket and placed it on her pillow. Then she went out again and sat down to milk her cows. Suddenly she heard tambourine bells jingle and scissors fall, on account of which noise she upset the milk. Having run home and looked, she found that the plant was uninjured. Again she issued forth to milk the cows, and again thought she heard the tambourine bells jingle and scissors fall, and once more she spilled her milk. https://www.instagram.com/p/CnnCvkZpxW0/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
