Someone close to me is homesick for Brazil so I painted and printed this for them. I wanted the comp to be simple and its intentions obvious. I had fun with the hills and atmospheric perspective. This is not AI nor is any part of this AI.

Chicago deep-dish is just out of this world...I had to say that. I'm not sure when or where the space idea came in, but I'm pretty okay with the result. Enjoy the mid-class doodle that's helped me stay focused during this week.
I don't know why these all upload sideways, but here's my latest work for the sketchbook. I created the electric field pattern and printed it on photo paper then doodled these rainbow trout (at the suggestion of my friend Andrew) and glued them on.

I wanted to create something playful that aligned with a verse I really liked after reading about the Mother Nature challenge. So I had this idea for a series; fun, whimsical paintings of pet rocks. Full of personality, sweet, make you laugh, that kind of vibe. First one I draw is this. I was so horrified by it I haven't drawn another one since. I'm not kidding; I'm actually quite upset to discover I can't draw "sweet". Or maybe it was a bad day.
It's a perfect day to read a book written by your friend.
My friends book right now is "Projections" by S. Porter. Her book is so good! It is dark and fascinating and so well researched. I am really enjoying it.
