Inktober inspired, working with ink and handmade nibs

This started of as a simple doodle that became a bit more complicated. I used copic liner,gold ink and a bit of watercolor for shadowing.

I got my first client for logo design and they asked for a custom watercolor illustration of Iris flower. So I researched about iris flower and did a rough sketch. From there, I started rendering color using a special brush from GrutBrushes.

Done with dip pen and black Talens Indian ink. The dip pen is very old, 1967, I used it at school when I was 10. The next year we started to use fountain pens. Only the nib I used was ofcourse new.

Inktober 16: a vintage telephone. India ink on paper with calligraphic pen (oblique pen holder, Nikko G nib) and brushes.

Canvas mounted on wooden frame. Size: 25 x 30 cm Materials: acrylic, Chinese ink, brush, pen and marker. Is sold the original piece. For this reason, there may be slight differences from one piece to another.

For a Dutch science museum I illustrated and later animated this interior of a fictional space ship.

A night sky background I drew a while ago! Hope you enjoy! This was drawn in Medibang Paint Pro.

This is a doodle of my OC. I tried to draw her as a dragon but usually she would be a sea creature. As I was getting close to finishing it, I noticed it had a few flaws. I drew it about a month ago soooo... nothing I can really do about it now I guess!
