My wife just added Slaughterhouse Five to my collection of classic graphic novels. I was making written entry in one of my journals, was circumstantially jumping around to different subjects, and thought of Billy Pilgrim.

This came out of nowhere. Using coloured pencils, Zig Art and Graphic twins, watercolours, Micron fineliners. Well, everything I had at the time!

This had been my first time ever drawing clouds, gotta say im pretty happy with the outcome.

Colored pencil sketch on 8.5 x 11 paper. This is one of a series done in 2005 of architectural details of buildings.

I drew based on a photo. It became a little darker than the original. I drew as an exercise. Tools: Derwent graphite pencils ; Paper size: A3

I’m getting ready to do a really big drawing of a full horse for a friend so I’m just practicing the muscles and legs in little sketches. If you see anything I should change, I would love feedback.

This is inspired by one of Bob Ross’s works. I added some twists and differences though. It is an older painting, but still one of my favorites!

The door with the thorny flower design: A religious person who live with out power. They refuse to allow God to sit on the throne in their lives. Woah, Richy isn't dead? Crazy stuff. I got Instagram a while back and abandoned this account because Instagram pulls in more people, but after a few years I got overwhelmed and deleted everything. Now I'm back – only sort of, since I rarely do art. Burnt out, you know?

Near the Volcano (Canvas Board)

This is a charcoal drawing with a hint of purple to add some charm. The purple is only included in the enclosed curvatures. I gave it a lattice style background with a moderate smear. I prefer to use a lattice style background in my charcoal drawings because it adds character. Concerning meaning, it’s whatever you feel when you look at it.
