This picture I posted yesterday, the difference is the face- I hated it so much that I decided to fix it then upload it again. This just goes to show how fixing something simple can fix the whole picture. I hope you don't think I have OCD for fixing the face then uploading it again, lol

I started painting with acrylics again towards the end of 2018. On 4x6" canvas wraps, they were so small, but so much fun to paint. I was pleased with this one except for the fact the magentas for the foxgloves weren't as vibrant as I hoped. The location that inspired it is Irfon Forest in Mid-Wales. I can't imagine it's a particularly touristy spot, but it's an absolute hidden gem with extensive views over the Brecon Beacons.

Im Kurt and new to Doodle Addicts. Loneliness and anxiety dominate my life and are reoccurring themes in my art. It wasn't until recently, after countless jobs, countless attempts, and thousands of dollars in school debt, that I realized it is what it is. At this point, I am trying to learn how to express myself through art and build a community without the pain from before. This is for my best friend, we want to stay friends hopefully forever. I took things she said to me and put it in the background, honestly this wasn’t a thing I was gonna post but why not.

I have made my first attempt on drawing my home for the Home Sweet home competition. I am so badly on this competition, so this is my first attempt and will be replaced soon. Since I hope to come up with a true home star drawing.
Ah yes, another hand. I never really realized how expressive hands can be, and I've been drawing them a lot more recently. (I swear I won't only draw hands.) This week has been quite the experience and has made me step back and look at certain things. (Who knew physics could be a metaphor for life?) OCs for Starry depths. Originally we’re more then friends so this is like a back story, all I could think of when I was drawing was that song that goes “sittin on the dock of the bay, watching the clouds roll away.” I think it’s by Otis Redding.
