Hey everyone, sorry for such a long hiatus! The main reason is that I haven't been drawing so I had nothing to post. I also went through a name change, from BurningCinders to Umbra! For this piece, I played around with some new brushes and attempted to play with fog for the first time.

Artwork is Copic marker and Prismacolor colored pencil. This card was created as a random insert for the 2018 Rittenhouse Archives Star Trek Captains collection Card series. Trying some new things out. Yay

I learned last week that if I pray for strength then God always gives me just enough sooo a painted a strength tree... because why not? (:

The fight which happens in everyone's mind at some point. To go beyond the comfort zone. That can be whatever you are ignoring but which is going to expand you It can completely tear you apart but eventually you'll be in peace with it.

Painting done on a 24" x 36" canvas with Arteza and Master's Touch acrylic paint

Lead pencils F,B-B7, kneatable- ,normal-, pencil eraser, paper stomps, tissue on A3 bamboo fibre rag paper. Choose to draw her bald, for no particular reason. Zoom in for full detail. Photographed in the sunlight with the canon 28 mm f/1.8 prime lens. Photoshop for greysteps contrast-boost and cropping. Like if you dare. Or else post some critique. Just some try to imagine Christina bald. Realistic? Still doodling? Her eyes are like dominating the whole draw... kind of unreal, isn´t it?
