I’ve really been enjoying ink lately - whether pen or Micron inks - it’s been a fun style to try. This was interesting, something different to a typical city street view.
This piece is called, ‘Mrs Victoria,’ I created this for a friend in 2018. This is on a canvas. I use acrylic paint. This was a request, he was telling me the type of art that he wanted to give his girlfriend for her birthday. I love challenges as an artist, and it helps me to try new things in my art. My style is kind of versatile. He brought the piece, for his girlfriend. They both loved it. Prints of this piece is now on sale on my ArtPal site. He definitely served in the military, 2 tours, and is always saying things like "you workin' hard, or hardly workin'?". He drinks his cheap grandpa beer in a plain glass and puts salt in it.
Hi guys! This is my first attempt at a concept art! I'm doing a course about this and this one is my first project, and i really want to see what the community thinks of it, please do share your thoughts on this! I'm really new to digital painting and painting in general so i know i have a lot to improve.
My painted interpretation of a large quilt my grandma made and stitched by hand decades ago using upcycled shirts. It’s gotten a lot of use and is showing the wear and tear that a well loved quilt will show on a long enough timeline. Still, I can’t bring myself to put it away for long. While a piece of me thinks I should keep it safe and preserved, my grandma is a practical woman that likes knowing something she made is getting good use. A sentiment I can appreciate. And so, maybe I can extend it’s life through watercolor.
A page from my sketchbook during my Foundation Diploma in Art & Design in London. Diluted ink is a great medium. It always gives this authentic look. I think I used colouring pencils below to give it a strong colourful look. Love this one.
My husband got me two new fountain pens and a sample of inks from Goulet pens about a month before the pandemic. I think those ink samples got me through the last 7 weeks of lockdown in an already dreary winter.
An excercise in negative painting with my set of bister inks. I wasn't completely happy with the results - the bister ink was not as transparent as i expected it to be.
This watercolour painting was inspired by another artists brilliant work (I'm afraid I don't know the name). Absolutely loved doing this piece. My mother asks why I always do sad paintings and thinks I should do more happy ones. What do you think? Comment Below
The Glatisant the or barking animal is of the mythical world of King Arthur. It sounds like a 100 dogs are in its belly and only gets quiet while it drinks.
Mix out of lion, deer, leopard and snake. English creatures really like to mix in deer...

Anywaaay...! This illustration is a fan art of the two main characters from relatively unknown PS2 classic, Okage. If you haven't heard of it or paid it much attention before, it's a must-play if you don't tire of JRPGs!! The art style is beautiful and reminiscent of Tim Burton's stuff~ Once I have time this'll be available at my art shops. Links below!
