The first time I tried to draw a portrait. It was more than a year now since I have finished this photo. I know that the portrait is not that perfect, but I really enjoyed making it and I have learned a lot.

to this statement in John 6:66 "After this many of his disciples went back; and walked
no more with him". Indeed it is a hard saying to accept but Jesus was firm "67: Jesus said to the twelve, 'Do you also wish to go
away?'
68: Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life; 69: and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God."
Let us accept Jesus' great gift in the one and only Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and if we can't make it for whatever reason let us pray the Holy Spirit to dwell more fully in our hearts and enkindle our Souls in the Love and the Peace of God. Peace be with you all.

Yellow Crab (Eriphia verrucosa) is typically brownish green or brownish red in colour with yellow spots. It has very strong, asymmetric chelipeds, the larger ones typycally bering rounded tuberbles in front of the upper articulation of the carpus. This turned out to be a finished painting. It started with a full canvas of doodle lines (check my patreon log if you are interested in the raw file) This was executed just this March. Still, no lines were altered except the face area. Impossible you say?

I would like to place a red rose somewhere in the vicinity of the red circle. Should I make the background darker than the Friesian, lighter (grey-ish) than the Friesian, or keep it how it is? Any opinions/comments would be very helpful.

Anywaaay...! This illustration is a fan art of the two main characters from relatively unknown PS2 classic, Okage. If you haven't heard of it or paid it much attention before, it's a must-play if you don't tire of JRPGs!!
