Many people walk past plants either without noticing them or with just a glance. For the Walmajarri people in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, and many other Indigenous groups, plants provide a source of food and medicine. These outlines are of plants that are used by Walmajarri people as either food or medicine. For most people they remain a mystery, hence the outline only.

Ha pedig jó füled van, és érted az erdő nyelvét, akkor meghallhatod azokat a csodaszép meséket, amiket a forrás, a csermely, a patak tündére elmond ilyenkor a fáknak.

A sűrűség bódító leheletében szuszog a figyelmeztetés: ne vágj ki minden fát! Az ember néha mégis, mint megveszekedett fejsze, ide-oda csapkod, pánikol, mert nem találja a megfejthetetlenül göcsörtös mindennapokból a megnyugváshoz vezető, az örömmel járható aszfaltot.

No era del azul del cielo ni del blanco de las estrellas ni del verde que tanto conocía de las copas de los arboles. Era de un color entre el suelo y el cielo. Un morado vivo que rompía con todo lo que se encontraba a su alrededor. Una flor que hizo que todos los otros colores se volvieran pequeños en un instante a la vista de Zaya.
No se atrevió a tocarla, por miedo a hacerle daño, o a que se rompiese (...)
