have to be honest...I'm not a fan of cutesy characters I prefer cold,sarcastic,scornful characters like Ruthleen,Parslip,Elveridrel,snidecious and Morrison.but clemence is the exception because her cuteness never favors her because she's not taken seriously as a person (because she's pink and fluffy,like real cotton candy)anyway Clemence was supposed to be a partly humanoid candy person but since it didn't suit her personality(clever,hard working,hopeful)well I changed her to a humanoid instead.she was timid and clumsy in her original look and she was taller 6'0.again these are old sketches I completely forgot about,

For the new year I am doing the 365 challenge drawing SOMETHING EVERYDAY but on day 3. I wanted to do something with paint and tape but it did not come out the way I wanted but that's what happens when trying something new.

Happy feast of St. John of the Cross, one of the doctors of the church. Well known for his work on the "Dark night of the Soul" which is different than "Spiritual Desolation" that St. Ignatius talks about. We all have our crosses to bear but we don't always see the fruit. It's a fitting day for me as I got a big cross today but with God's grace I can support it. Happy Feast of Our Lady of Loreto! This is the Holy Family of Loreto or should I say Nazareth. The very house of Nazareth was taken up and brought to Loreto long ago. The walls are so sanctified and even hover an inch above the foundation by some miracle. I'm about to do a retreat there so pray for me! Loosely inspired while playing a game Far Cry 4. I like the environment of the high mountains, the Himalayas, and Buddhism and Hindu art references. The bell is cracked like the Liberty Bell, which always reminds me of Leonard Cohen lyric "There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in."

Lavender flowers represent purity, silence, devotion, serenity, grace, and calmness. Purple is the color of royalty and speaks of elegance, refinement, and luxury, too. The color is also associated with the crown chakra, which is the energy center associated with a higher purpose and spiritual connectivity.

It's little Saint Therese! Whenever we get overwhelmed by the troubles of life, let us remember to be little! Yes, little children of God, dependent on the Father and filled with divine love and trust. Sometimes I feel like I can only do the little things with great love because when you suffer from depression (did you know she suffered from it too?) the little things become great heroic acts for you to do! Yet to the outsider, they say, well he is doing nothing. However it's the greatest thing! I must decrease and Christ must increase. I am nothing and God is the one who is All. So when I do my little nothing things but I do them with and in Christ they become resplendent! In the divine will those little things become divine acts that will shine for us in Heaven!
