Claire here with another species I designed! This is a digital drawing of what I call a Gormadon. It's likeness is most like a bear, but it has spikes and frills kind of like a dragon or dinosaur. I imagine this species to be quite big if it were real. Perhaps about the size of an adult elephant. As usual I struggled to get a true likeness, but that notwithstanding, I was still pleased with the result. HB, 5B and 9B graphite pencils on smooth cartridge drawing paper, size A3.

I added to the last drawing, adding a face. Making it look like a baby I know. She’s adorable. I hope it looks like a baby!

Current events mean retreating into my sketchbook is the way of things today, until it blows over(ish, emphasis on the -ish).

Texture experimentation.

This took me about an hour which is great because I don't have much time to spare as I am doing Camp NaNoWriMo this month. I still want to be active in the art space so this will have to do for now. I honestly really love how this piece came out. Again drawing another OC because why not.

A thought I've been having lately- To make peace without forgiveness, I do it for my own mind, my own future, and you need nothing from me too.

Another OC redesign along with a new name,she still looks somewhat like her old design except now she has short hair instead of poofy long hair,green eyes,different horns,two lower fangs instead of one and lastly the sharp horns on each side of her face.she also doesn't have a hourglass body shape anymore (I don't want two female characters having the same body type)She is a good friend of Tenebris,they often challenge each other and have fights to see which who is stronger than each other,she is athletic,loud mouthed and mischevious and she is skilled in flying unlike Tenebris.

Normally i start w an idea or whim & doodle away trying to capture my thots. On this one i simply scribbled onto a page & then looked hard for shapes, animals, faces & any other unorthodox item. Then i simply added some color. I plan to do more of these mostly as a gr8 exercise for fresh runaway doodles hot off the press!
