After the initial shock of creating my first sketch, I realized that I could do better. And after about a week this one was finally finished. (Would have done it sooner, but I had school.) And I once again managed to amaze myself. I never thought that it would be possible that I, who has basically no hand eye coordination, could create this.
Here's a portrait of Yuko Shimizu that I'm working on for an IlloStories project (check the group out on Facebook).
I took her pose from one of her photographs, then used colours, patterns and textures that were inspired by her artworks.
This could be a front page for a book about her, or maybe a page for when her story reaches this point!
I was going to leave this as a sketch but I decided to finish it, and I'm kind of glad that I did. I'm not going to make him into a new OC since I'm already held up by making a comic with two already amazing OCs, but this angel is really adorable.

A recent commission from a patron of mine. They have weekly game #DungeonsAndDragons game nights and wanted all of their original thought up characters in a group shot. I was happy to oblige -- this was both a challenge and so much fun! A total of 13 characters was done, in about 2 1/2 weeks time!
