I belong to the genus Woody Puppets, quite numerous in the Magic Valley. I was born in Puppetcity, from my father a traditional medicine doctor (herbal and energy treatment) and my mother Major Readers of phenomena. Coloring practice! Looked up a lot of references for the lighting, and despite not looking like the reference I'd say I've leveled up with colored pencils. I almost never use prismas except for hair, but this time prismas colored the entire lass. This here's Yonn Goldheart Afflora, savior of Galantra, basically she's the braveheart of her country. The dirt on her face speaks of 1000 hunts and the loss of her eye shows the extent of her bravery and sacrifice. I'm thinking her chapter should be explained in a short story, yes? For legends get passed along in story over fire and wine!
Oh how I miss using watercolour again! Been awhile since the last time I used this medium because now I draw with digital technique more often than the traditional ones.

Like smoke, the line finishes as soon as it began. There is no room for any colour shapes, or anything else to be done to it; any additions would disturb the coherent of the flow. Contrast, balance and flow all met there. Art simply surfaced at that very moment and left a trace. This very line represents 3 decades of work!
Face to face, eye to eye, this pair of lovers is sharing their moment, despite any other figures which comes and goes. Now, all rests in the back of the mind, buried.

Found this quote a few days back, and it really resonated with me. The message is clear that we really shouldn't wait for the "perfect moment" or spend too much time looking for the "easy way" as neither of these options truly exist, they are in effect excuses for not getting on and doing what needs to be done. in order to achieve our goals. If we are honest with ourselves "now" is always the best time, and doing rather than thinking about doing is the way forward. This is a mixed media artwork as the drawing of the girl has been reworked in Photoshop along with the wording and torn paper effect all being digital. Many thanks for looking !
