Meet Lorisnail, my original character for a children’s book. It is a lonely and thoughtful creature that looks like a loris (a small primate that lives in Southeast Asia) and a snail. Needle felted wool on pipe cleaner with paper mache shell.
Whew! Baby yoda was fun to draw and gave me an excuse to get familiar with some of these brushes. The original sketch had a special guest, so you might see this one pop up again in the future. Hope you like him! .

This is one of many people that I will be using in my Senior Thesis animation project. My project is to create an interactive piece that is aimed for teaching young underrepresented minorities and girls the design process for a robot. :)
I call this work Lost Koi because I painted it in the 1990s. Gave the original to a friend who was terminally ill and thought I would never see it again. Then I found it on a old computer. I had to work a lot with the image. I hope it loads.

I wanted to draw a few of the characters and the logo in my style. Ryu is the main character, and I like Catwoman type characters, so I thought Katt looked fun to draw. Also, I drew the logo slightly different from the original. I don't like to draw every detail exact. As usual: [No Tracing] [No Ai] [No free form line tools for inking except for the perfect circles]
