Horizontal pupils are fascinating. Have not figured out the function but did find out that Newts are able to regenerate limbs - including the lens of its eye!

A pencil and watercolour study, inspired by Scott Christian Sava's "60 days of studying the masters" on Youtube. This was intimidating from start to finish, by far the most complex drawing I've ever done! It took me almost a week to get the drawing right, but the painting was done in a day. In between were many days of feeling overwhelmed, lost, and then afraid of messing it up. But I got there in the end and I think I pushed myself to a new skill and confidence level. Good thing too, I've got 58 more studies to do!
All Done! I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, but a few of the proportions are way off... but oh well. And I absolutely suck at manes(hair) soooo ya. Also I was curious, I’m thinking about getting some prints made of my artwork to sell, do any of you think you or someone you know would be interested in prints? Just curious, thanks! After Inktober I thought I’d try out a daily logo challenge “Logovember” which isn’t easy with the holidays happening . Here is one of the ideas. Each design started with a simple doodle that I then created in Adobe Illustrator.
Jon Snow’s faithful companion. In the beginning of the first few seasons, Ghost seem to come and go and Jon would wonder where he went! Like a ghost! Sometimes appearing outta nowhere! There is really nothing more I can say about this than it is truly just a doodle on a notepad while I was on the phone. The more I do this though, the more ideas I get for larger work.

Willow's an oc of mine... she's very quirky. She's better suited to hanging out with the dead than the living. Also, super open to tips on this one because, as a beginner, I'm not amazing at diverse people. Like, black people have different facial structures and hair. Asian people have different facial structures and hair. So if I got something wrong, I'm open to redrawing that part. Just lmk.
Inktober Day 04 - Freeze - That time when the ‘magnificent seven’ (minus Gendry who ran back to the Wall to get a message out to Daenerys) were huddled together to beat the biting cold freeze of the North...surrounded by the undead!
Aaaand forgot to post yesterday again. Sorry. Zmey can't talk, which is one of the reasons he took Anka as an apprentice and he is teaching her sign language.
(It's not an easy feat. He was hoping she could read to help, but let's say it's not the case either)
He is not medically mute, he could make sound if he need to.
It's just it's highly not recommended for him to open his mouth, thank to a little magical mishap when he met Baba Yaga for the first time.
She still maintain it was well earned.
So does he.

(Look, I couldn't find reference for russian sign language, and I'm not sure there was a sign language in their russian themed mythical medieval fantastical yolo universe)
Attempt 3 at drawing a a baby! This one is actually kinda better. I like how it turned out, it’s really light so I may need to retake but attempt 3 is a success!
