Backgrounds used to be my least favorite part of painting, but now im having fun trying out different textures and patterns. Having a strickt 12 color limit adds to the challenge and makes it feel like a puzzle.
This was done a year ago, but it's my favorite because it was basically just dumps of random doodle ideas that I had or had seen. It is a cluster of things that I liked at the time such as my favorite drink, food, animal, patterns, instruments, show, plant, seasons, and much more.
This sketchbook spread features a stylized pattern of colorful poppy flowers. The garden of flowers includes leaves of green, yellow and peach. The flowers are yellow with blue stems. The drawing as a whole has a whimsical and playful feel with a bright color scheme, polka dots and organic squiggle shapes, and blobs of seemingly random colors. For this one I was really stuck because there are so many ways to draw the word Path because path has different meanings to it . But I ultimately decided to draw a Stone path after some inspiration on Pintrest
Here is the OC Challenge! Start off with gender of your choice. Your fruit depends on your birth month. Jan-Banana Feb-Strawberry March-Watermelon April-Kiwi May-Starfruit June-Grape July-Apple August-Pumpkin Sept-Plum Oct-Cherry Nov-Lemon Dec-Dragonfruit. Give your OC a fruit hat. The eye color is the color of the shirt you are currently wearing. Hair color is the color of your bed sheets. Outfit color will be the color and/or pattern of your favorite fruit. If you are wearing socks give them a fruit staff; if you are barefoot give them a fruit wand.

This drawing is titled "Greyscale Doodle" and was created by Brianna Eisman, Artsy Drawings. I designed these multicolored trailers using different shades of color only in a different pattern for each trailer. I felt like this color scheme would give the trailers a uniform look yet their own distinct look. The roads look freshly paved with small shrubbery on the corners of the entry ways of the driveways. There are some pretty brown steps that leads to a door on each trailers. Also, as you can see the trailers have been topped off with the same flat style roof only with a different solid color which is one of the colors used on the sides of the trailers. There’s a fishing area with plenty of fish in it as well as places to sit. There’s even a place to use the restroom close by the fishing area so you can continue to enjoy your day catching fish with minimal interruption. This trailer park has a fresh look to it. It has a warm, inviting feel to it and is perfect for living a more simple lifestyle.
