A poster I made based on an Inktober sketch (day 8) where I made a small pattern of macarons. I had a lot of fun thinking of flavour combinations for the macarons! I'm selling the poster (and other products, such as mugs and t-shirts) on my Society6 and Red Bubble stores.

This is a piece of work of a canal in Amsterdam. i made a rubbing with pencil of a interesting patterned wall to create a base tone and then worked into it. This helped focus on tone and create interesting textures.
This sketchbook spread features a stylized pattern of colorful poppy flowers. The garden of flowers includes leaves of green, yellow and peach. The flowers are yellow with blue stems. The drawing as a whole has a whimsical and playful feel with a bright color scheme, polka dots and organic squiggle shapes, and blobs of seemingly random colors. My Vintage blue floral pattern print was designed for fabric. Originally drawn in black & white line, the blue adds a vintage feel and reminds me of the blue and white china of yester year.
