Some studies from the @fullertonarboretum Friday. These are random studies for my Sketching for Animators and Illustrators class. This is how I create handouts. We're hitting the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles this Saturday. Can't wait! #fullertonc
Random doodle.
This one looks like Princess Donut from Dungeon Crawler Carl. This book is the Venn diagram of the books that all of us loved. Super fun.
I was supposed to be doing homework yesterday. I did not. Instead I drew fan art of random thought bunnies me and my friend wandered through. So...enjoy. Floofs cuddling and being grumpy. Medium: Procreate on iPad. Time: I have no idea, wasn't paying attention.
After experiencing a DNA surprise/shock earlier in the year I needed to express my feelings in my artwork. Conception is a representation of how random life can be. A sence of belonging yet somehow not belonging and finally being able to link together those aspects of myself.
Here's a traditional art sketch card, produced on a 4 X 5 inch blank licensed card. The cut lines are set at 2.5 X 2.3 standard trading card size. Artwork is Copic marker and Prismacolor colored pencil. This card was created as a random insert for the 2018 Rittenhouse Archives Star Trek Captains collection Card series. Whew!!! About 50 hours of work split evenly over line work and color. I think it’s finished ( famous last words)! I’ll check on it again in a few days for any final details... and get some good camera shots instead of phone camera. .... but I’m happy!
It’s always good to find some drawing time on vacation. We went to some weird random small towns in Washington and a ghost town called Burke with some particularly interesting history. I had Cheers playing on my phone while I drew this but no similarity is intended. It’s a classic show but it would have been better without the distracting laugh tracks.
This sketchbook spread features a stylized pattern of colorful poppy flowers. The garden of flowers includes leaves of green, yellow and peach. The flowers are yellow with blue stems. The drawing as a whole has a whimsical and playful feel with a bright color scheme, polka dots and organic squiggle shapes, and blobs of seemingly random colors. Please check out my website ArtsyDrawings.com for more by me, Brianna Eisman. Thank you!
