I redid my Inktober sketch on a larger scale and in color.

As usual I struggled to get a true likeness, but that notwithstanding, I was still pleased with the result. HB, 5B and 9B graphite pencils on smooth cartridge drawing paper, size A3.

The word prompt was "Teeth" and I used the Zentangle pattern "Itch" for the scales on the dragon. This picture sums up the (bad?) advice given to us Anxiety ridden folks - "Focus on one thing at a time." Yeh, how's that working for you?

This is someone's OC I drew (the design is not mine. No stealing please.) It's also one of my first attempts at drawing a dragon-like creature. This one, I'm pretty proud of. However, I need practice on drawing scales. Getting them to look right is more difficult than I thought. Overall, super happy with this picture. I hope the image makes your day a little more magical.

I know that the river is a little off the perspective that the painting is done in, but everything else looks to scale.

really getting into sketching with value, trying to learn different ways to use value

This is an old piece I did for a shading assignment in high school art class. 3 techniques of shading used: tonal value, hatching and cross hatching

Trying out some drawing on a slightly bigger scale( it's still only 8"x12, but I usually draw in a tiny scale). It was fun and interesting because it made me try new things.

The amaranthus are commonly used as symbols of eternity/immortality due to its ability to retain its color for a long time after dying/cut off". I thought that this phenomenon represents "hope" more than the more common meaning of "devotion/undying love". Having hope keeps us alive during difficult periods where we are cut off from the things that typically motivates us, whether it be financial resources, loved ones, etc., and I tried to convey this by juxtaposing the vibrant colours of the flowers (symbolizing hope and life) with the grayscale tone of the statue (symbolizing death and brokenness).

An idea for if Ms.Chalice from "Cuphead; The Delicious Last Course" had the chance to exact revenge on the ghosts in the mausoleums from "Don't Deal With the Devil", a new skin could be awared to her upon completing all 3. The idea for said skin is ad follows. SIlver or greyscale, stone ghost (eyes are gone) or ghostly cutie. ( no legs,just a tail)

A dragon I had quite some fun drawing, I decided to do a bit of a smaller scale version this time

That time when Samwell Tarly tasked himself to save Ser Jorah Mormont from greyscale. It was not an easy task since it requires the removal of one scale at a time! Also every time the scale was removed, the skin oozes, so yeah, not a very pleasant sight! In the beginning, it would make Sam woozy or dizzy, but he was able to complete the task! Spirals added for embellishment of course! This was oddly chosen for adobeawards stories feature.
