So, they altered some of the characters and created their own chain of the Altitone Band: Zero Days Until the Party. I drew him again (even though he's hard to draw) however I had fun.i like the relaxed look on his face which is rather odd since I usually draw him stony faced.
Watercolour crayon, crayon and fineliner drawing... i like to think everything is connected and feeds off each other, a constant cycle. Im fasinated with plants like the venus fly traps and tried to incorporate into the flower with some snake eyes.
This portrait was created using mixed media like colored pencils, markers, and ink. The portrait features the face of a man resting in his hand, and staring dead-eyed at the viewer. I used non local color techniques to create depth and form using colors not typically found in the human face, like blues and violets for shadows and yellows and oranges or highlights. Parts of his face include small pink stars which originally faded from the previous page, but I really like the look it gives, they almost look like celestial freckles.
This is a simple watercolor and pen drawing of a witch hazel tree in winter bloom with an owl perched on top. I love the witch hazel shrub and am thinking of creating a picture book showcasing the plant throughout the seasons.

I genuinely can't believe it's already March (I also can't believe it'll be a year since the pandemic really started). Yesterday also marked one year since I started journaling, which isn't an actual major thing, but still. How quickly time flies and how big of a difference a year can make. Since people put sketches on here, I thought why not. I don’t know, me and my friend are starting a graphic novel type thing for a book we wrote, more to come I think? I don’t know if this will stay because if they see this they may want me to take it down. Oh well. Here we are.
A few years ago, I followed a Mooc about game design et so, I created a character named Will, a little spirit able to change his appearance depending of the pumpkin he possess.
So, he could become intangible (the ghost), fly really high (the bat), climb and manipulate object (the cat) and bowl over obstacles (the wolf).
So for last Halloween, I decided to redraw them for a fake video game screen.

Il y a quelques années, j’avais participé à un MOOC sur le game design et j’avais ainsi créé le personnage de Will, un petit esprit capable de changer d’apparence selon les citrouilles qu’il possédait.
Il pouvait ainsi être intangible (le fantôme), voler très haut (la chauve-souris), escalader et manipuler des objets (le chat) et défoncer des obstacles (le loup)
Du coup, pour Halloween, j’ai voulu les redessiner pour un faux écran de jeux vidéos.

had to paint light through trees in watercolor. The pattern on the chair was a pain in the butt, but I think it came out ok. Winsor & Newton professional watercolors on Blick premier cold press 140lb watercolor block. This is the first time I've used Blick Watercolor paper. It held up well, but the painting came out kind of light (not sure if the paper had anything to do with that, though). At any rate, I bought a bunch of it, so I guess that's what I'm using!
