Watercolour and acrylic

A little practice. (Pencil. 2010)

The third and the last piece of my bar drawings. (Felt-pen. 2012)

Just messing around with new Watercolor brushes and blenders on ClipStudio.

A fun experiment. I wonder what this would like in full colour.

Just looking at these furry buddies will let your body release all the oxytocin that your body needs to make your day a whole lot better! Even though science tells us that dogs can only make their faces appear to smile. But we know better, they do smile at us especially when we have a lot going on in our lives

Ballpoint pen wildlife collage

Earlier uploaded the forest but it was misty. I felt a hint of light would vibe better. So reuploading...

Colored pencil on pastel paper

I live by the water (Torontos inner harbour) and managed to capture a seagull in mid flight. Did my best in not coloring it , and focused on the ✏️ pencil

acrylic on paper - 16x20in

Yes, I realy like trains :)

These are some flower studies of what I admit are rather odd looking flowers. They are a lot tougher to draw than I thought they would be.

Started out as a pen and marker drawing, but my markers were a bit dried up, so went to colored pencils....so inadvertently, it's mixed media, sorta.

Februllage Day 12: "Newspaper" // Paper cutouts and ink on paper // 5 x 7 in // 2022

Inktober submission from 2018. Inspired by the manga of Tsutomu Nihei.

On A4 paper using fine permanent markers. Done by me.

New triptych painting. Each one is an acrylic painting on a 5x7 wood board and then framed with a background filled with doodles. Go to my Instagram to see the time-lapse painting of each panel.

Biking is my second love. And I should do more images like this as my imagination flies when I bike.

Follow @thecovatar on IG and Twitter for daily art inspiration! Do you like fantasy movies and literature? Then you must know Ben Barnes! The actor who played Dorian Gray in the same-name film adaptation and Prince Caspian in the Chronicles of Narnia has surely won your heart! But do you know that he also played Alexander Kirigan in Shadow and Bone? Turn on Netflix and watch the first season if you haven’t seen it yet!

I had to improvise a bit. I found myself rummaging for colored pencils so I drew my outfit today with the ones I had. Notice that I am painting because I’m out of pencils. My oversized sweatshirt is really a periwinkle blue.

This piece was heavily inspired by the amazing designs of Ian McQue and it was one of the very first test-drawings on my remarkable 2 e-Ink tablet. So I was still in the process of adapting to this new tech :)
