Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901) Toulouse-Lautrec drank constantly and slept little. After a long night of drawing and binge-drinking, he would often wake early to print lithographs, then head to a café for lunch and several glasses of wine. Returning to his studio, he would take a nap to sleep off the wine, then paint until the late afternoon, when it was time for aperitifs. (One of his inventions was the Maiden Blush, a combination of absinthe, mandarin, bitters, red wine, and champagne. I got three paintchip cards from a big paint company in the mail and decides to paint some moths over the holidays. This is the first one, done with acrylic paints, posca pens and karinmarkers.

A horse with a gasmask was the photo that provoked this. I was imagining other animals so outfitted, and a fish was the craziest. Brown ink, colour pencil and whiteout.

i can breathe

This is was more of an experiment as I wanted to see what black ink would like on paper with an "aged" like background. I think it came out quite nicely but I also think that the black ink might seem a bit too bold. I'm not really sure.

showing someone a new song that you wrote or any artwork that you created needs courage. so this lovely frog, i call him tommy, wrote a song and plays it for his friends. he was worried about what they will think. of course his friends love the new song and he feels so supported. wish you a wonderful day!

This a self portrait drawing of myself as a younger man, with a lot of shadow play on the portrait itself and a stylized background of a sky, clouds and the sun, rendered in a kind of an imaginary dream-like almost surreal scenario. Many thanks for looking.

Another commission done for my friend - her parent's house is nestled in a small suburb and surrounded by so many trees. This neighborhood has so many beautiful homes.

I seen Mr Phil LaMarr wearing a shirt like this, baseball logo parody, it was Luke Skywalker and a probe droid. So, i made this. I think its funny if a little juvenile. Samurai Jack is AWESOME! that show as my thing back in the day.
