DOODLE TIME {ALWAYS}

Some time ago, I injured myself. This inspried me for this little drawing. Acylic ink and pastel on watercolor paper.

Finally feels like we are Riding into summer. About time! An early doodle from the vaults.

For a long time, I always misheard the lyrics in the song ‘Torn Green Velvet Eyes’ by The Magnetic Fields as ‘Tom Green Velvet Eyes’… told myself that one day I’d draw something inspired by this mishearing of things and well, here you go!

Paying homage to the show that inspired and helped shape my artistic development as a child. The Muppets were ahead of their time.

This was from about a year ago, unfortunately I haven't had time to make anything new recently but I thought I'd post something anyways.

This is the second oil painting I have ever made, and the first time I have attempted to create mountains, trees and bushes. I used just 3 colours for this: Raw Umber, Phthalo Blue and Titanium White. I learned a lot and had tonnes of fun at the same time.

I created a bunch of logos for the art club I am a member of. I made a lino cut, printed it a few times and then digitally edited some of the prints.

I dedicate this work to my beloved pet, Cenna. Although she left me a few months ago, my memories of our time together will never fade. Thank you for everything you gave me, Cenna. For being there every time I started to cry, for watching over me while I slept, and for always being by my side when I needed someone to listen. I miss it all, Cenna.
