Original characters for a story which might never see the day of light. Amar and Aska belongs to me, Augustine and Sayeed belongs to my Hubby. We call them the Ass quartet or The triple As A-S. Augustine would be the main character, Amar her foil/lancer, and Aska and Sayeed would be supporting characters. I'm still practising communicating though character and setting design, so I will probably re-design them about 100 times more before they will ever be done.
After a difficult childhood being bullied for her unusual height, Janet embraced her spindly legs and now earns a respectable salary fetching things from high shelves. She also moonlights a shin model for up and coming kiwi fashion emporium, Ki|.
A very random doodle I did for warm-up while working on commissions. I don't think it helped much other than working with little line work and stark lighting.

This is a scanned pencil sketch of a picture that I still want to work out. The whole thing is supposed to be a kind of fantasy landscape. The castle depicted does not have to be historically correct either. I will try to work it out in Procreate. It's a great programme, but unfortunately I'm not yet as proficient as I'd like to be ... As soon as there's any progress, I'll post it here!

Sloths have an unusual method of camouflage. Cracks in their hair allow many different species of algae and fungi to grow which makes them appear green. Some species of fungi living in sloth fur have been found to be active against certain strains of bacteria, cancer and parasites! I've been exploring these great coloured pencils, Lyra Polycolor, ans I'm loving it! They are buttery and so vivid on my moleskine sketchbook. These drawings are inspired by the trending tattoo designs. I'm thinking of creating some for an old tattoo cover-up too..
This is a digital drawing of a species I came up with. This is also my first attempt of making a base. I'm very pleased with how it turned out and I plan to only get better. Please do not use or claim the species as your own. I worked hard and all things I create are cherished and made with lots of care. Because I have a base, I'm open to color ideas.
